The riser is a beautiful focal point of your bow. We have options below to choose from and can get other types of wood as well.
I like to use woods with a mass weight of over 50 lbs/ft3. This adds mass weight to the center of the bow, making it easier to hold steady.
Changing from the standard riser wood of Osage will add some cost.
G-10 is a man made material with incredible strength. This option adds a significant amount of mass, but the biggest advantage is it allows me to cut the sight window to center.
Limb Veneers are purely for beauty. Below is a list of woods I commonly use for veneers, but I can get others as well.
Some veneers will add cost over and above the standard Clear Glass and Veneer upgrade.
Carbon Weave replaces glass on the back on the bow. Yes, it looks great but it also enhances performance and feel.
With Carbon Weave on the back, the belly still gets glass - so you get to choose any color of glass or upgrade to clear with any beautiful veneers.
